بیست و یکمین مراسم D.I.C.E. Awards قرار است در روز ۲۲ فوریه (ساعت ۷:۳۰ صبح ۴ اسفند ماه) در لاس وگاس برگزار شود. در فهرست نامزدهای این مراسم، نام بازی Horizon Zero Dawn از استودیو گوریلا گیمز بسیار دیده می‌شود که برای دریافت ۱۰ جایزه، از جمله عنوان بهترین بازی سال کاندید شده است. از سایر نامزدهای دریافت جایزه بهترین بازی سال می‌توان به Cuphead، PUBG، Super Mario Odyssey و The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild اشاره کرد.
عناوین دیگری جز Horizon Zero Dawn هم برای دریافت چندین جایزه مختلف کاندید شدند. این بازی‌ها شامل: Breath of the Wild ،Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice و Uncharted: The Lost Legacy در ۶ بخش، بازی‌های Cuphead و Gorogoa در ۵ بخش و PUBG و Super Mario Odyssey در ۴ بخش می‌شوند. در کل ۶۸ بازی در مراسم امسال DICE Awards در بخش‌های مختلف کاندید شده‌اند.
لازم به ذکر است که D.I.C.E در حقیقت مخفف Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain به معنی طراحی، نوآوری، ارتباط و سرگرمی است و هیچ ارتباطی با DICE که توسعه‌دهنده بازی Battlefield است ندارد.
